President
Dr. Georg ZANGER graduated from the University of Vienna and started his professional career 30 years ago. He is now the head of "zanger bewegt", a law firm looking for creative answers based on a "best solution approach".
Specialized in Business Law (Intellectual Property Law and Media Law, Competition Law, Telecommunication Law and Copyright Law) Dr. Zanger operates for many international companies which have set up a foreign base in Austria.
For many years Dr. Zanger has rendered oustanding services to the establishment of a sound network comprising Chinese lawyers, government agencies and companies.
Dr. Wolfgang RECKENDORFER
Secretary General
Dr. Wolfgang RECKENDORFER graduated 1981 from the University of Vienna and started his professional career after graduation in a highly renomated law firm.
1990 he founded with a partner an import/export company, specialized in international tradings with focus on Eastern Europe. 1996 he moved with the headquarter of his firm to Cyprus and lead from there the company's growth. As partner of the largest tabacco companies such as Philipp Morris, Reemtsma, BAT and Austria Tabak an impressive logistic and distribution company was built from there on, before being sold.
For many years Dr. Reckendorfer now is a successful business consultant. He has specialized as expert on networking and business relationships in Europe and Asia and reders his expert services to lawyers, government agencies and companies in Europe and China.
Mag. Walther SCHNOPFHAGEN
Treasurer
Mag. Walther SCHNOPFHAGEN graduated from Vienna University of Economics. 1982 he started his professional career with Ernst & Young, one of the "big four" worldwide, becoming partner in 1993. His main competences are corporate finance, cross border & domestic leasing and real estate.
2006 he became member of the board of a stock exchange listed firm for financial services and at the same time member of the board of an Austrian private bank, being now active as an independend consultant.
MMag. Norbert HASLHOFER
Secretary
MMag. Norbert HASLHOFER has more than 15 years of experience in civil and criminal litigations as judge and public prosecutor. His present practice as Rechtsanwaltsanwärter covers all areas of commercial law. His litigation practice includes banking, insurance and corporate disputes as well as business crime cases.
Norbert Haslhofer is a graduate of the Universities of Vienna and Innsbruck (Mag phil. and Mag jur.)
